Lets Talk Food

For the most part, we all know what we “should” eat, applying this is the challenging bit.  Michael Pollan says “Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants.” Sounds easy, right?  If you don’t think so, you aren’t alone! There’s so much information out there regarding what we “should” and “should not” eat combined with huge profits made on consumer confusion and which ever diet is popular at the moment!  This is where I can help!  My goal is to support and empower you on your health journey and guide you towards eating in alignment with your truths and values.

Getting to the Root!

We work together to discover your food truths, your values, and clarify what is the best, most realistic and sustainable food choices for you.  From there, we will figure out if anything is wreaking havoc in your gut causing all sorts of shitty (pun intended) symptoms.  We will make necessary tweaks to your food choices, work within your budget, time restraints and desire or lack of desire/knowledge to cook and come up with a design that works for you.  A plan that is sustainable for you, that gets you back in your body, listening to your instincts and honoring your truths.  The one thing I’ve learned over the years from my own experience and observing others is this:  diets don’t work.  If you’re looking for that get skinny fast diet plan, I’m not your person.  Skinny does not necessarily equal healthy and my goal for you is healthy and free from the grips most of us don’t know diet culture and marketing has on us.
